This week we have two circle-themed puzzles for you. The instructions are reasonably straight forward, so coaches should take about 5-10 minutes to look over them before the coaching session. First do 'Disc Split' and then, if you have time left over, try '1 Minute to Get Across'. For 'Disc Split, it would be good to have some rulers. And ignore the reference to cake (unless you really want to bake 5 cakes). Max: Each coach will need the instructions for each puzzle, so that's 10 print outs of instructions for each puzzle. Children will share their handouts, so you'll need 2 copies per group of 4 children - that's 18 copies of the children's handout per puzzle. We'd love you to post here on the forum how things went after the practice.
We will meet in the dinning hall on Thursday. The afternoon will be split into two parts. The first is a maths relay and the second is the farewell and prize giving. You'll get the instructions you need for the rally on the day. For the prize giving, make sure you bring your comments about each of your children. Don't wing it. They'll notice. See you soon!
